The Inland Empire Black Nurse's
Association, Incorporated (IEBNA) is one of the numerous chapters which
makes up the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. (NBNA). IEBNA was
organized on November 18, 1984 by a group of highly motivated, dedicated,
and concerned nurses who confirmed the need for such an organization in
our community.
The first meeting of registered
nurses and licensed vocational nurses interested informing a chapter of
the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. (NBNA) was held at Operation
Second Chance, School of Opportunity, in San Bernardino, California.
IEBNA was chartered at the
thirteenth annual NBNA National Institute Conference in St. Louis,
Missouri on August 10, 1985. |
